Indian on twenty seven April 2015 launched a relief and rescue operation named Maitri in earthquake hit Nepal. The operation will involve twenty-four military aircraft and choppers along with bus services through road route.
India also pressed nearly one thousand trained personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) into service after Nepal on twenty five April 2015 was struck by the worst earthquake in eighty years in which over 2500 people were killed.
Cyclone Hudhud battered the Andhra coast, the Indian Navy launched ‘Operation Lehar’, a massive search and rescue operation, to assess the damage and rush help to areas still reeling under the effect of the devastating storm.
The country’s defence crisis management group nominated the Navy to undertake the lead rescue and relief operations in Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Odisha.Eight ships carrying relief materials, one P8I and another Dornier aircraft were pressed into service early on Monday to take stock of the damage and begin relief work.
The NDRF too pressed 42 rescue and relief teams, which successfully shifted as many as 11,853 people in Vizag, Vizianagaram and East Godavari district to safer places, officials said. Two NDRF teams were asked to move towards Srikakulam by road from Odisha. They have also starting clearing the trees and repairing the roads.

According to Mr Rajiv Takru, Secretary of Financial Services, Government of India, all Indian government agencies and regulators are working together to probe charges. On March 14, 2013 Reserve Bank of India conducted an inquiry into possible violation of its KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) guidelines by ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank. Following the enquiry, penalty of Rs 5 crore on Axis Bank, Rs 4.5 crore on HDFC Bank and Rs 1 crore on ICICI Bank was imposed by RBI.
On March 15, 2013 ICICI Bank suspended 18 employees. On March 16, 2013 HDFC Bank appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu to carry out an independent forensic inquiry of bank employees who are encouraging customers to evade income tax.

Operation Red Dawn
Operation Red Dawn was an American military operation conducted on 13 December 2003 in the town of ad-Dawr, Iraq, near Tikrit, that led to the capture of Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. The operation was named after the 1984 film Red Dawn. The mission was assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division, commanded by Maj. Gen. Raymond Odierno and led by Col.
